Your new employer is a producer of meat products in the poultry sector. They process products from slaughterhouses and cutting plants. Using modern technologies, they make high-quality meat products intended for further processing in the food industry.

They have multiple locations for production and storage of their product and their products are intended for human consumption as well as animals. The processing process continues day and night, which allows them to respond flexibly to the demands of their customers. Their customers are located all over the world. The Netherlands, Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia are among the main sales areas.

What kind of activities does this job contain

You work the same shift for two weeks and then move on to the next. A weekly shift consists of 4 or 5 days. We have a day shift, an evening shift and a weekend shift.

You are responsible for freezing and packaging the remaining meat, both fresh and frozen, according to the customer's specifications. Then clean the workplace.

For example, when on the freezing side you will have a hose that hangs above a malt, this hose pushes out meat mixed with water and you will have to guide this hose to fill each block neatly with this mixed product, then these blocks are frozen in the malt, take it out and stack it and then take it to a machine that neatly stacks and packages it. The company is very modern with modern machines, that ensures that the nasty chores are less present, but the cleaning remains. You also have wings or thighs that remain after dividing emat and bone, it is almost the same, but it is supplied by a production belt that hangs above the malt and you and your colleagues will fill in all the block shapes nicely.

You may also have to assemble fresh products, then you will have to go on the EPT (no certificate required) and put the raw material in a tipper that tips the product onto the belt. Further on there are also production employees who separate the unusable. of the usable, then there is someone who regulates the flow and ensures that the product does not enter the packaging machine too quickly or too much. The product is then put into bags and also put into boxes and packaged by the machine, but of course there has to be someone to replenish the boxes. In addition, it is possible that you stand at the excruter a machine that removes the remaining meat from the bones and it comes out from a blowhole, for this you only have to ensure that there is a large plastic container with a plastic bag in it and is it almost full? With the pump truck, put a new one underneath, put a bag over this full plastic container so that it cannot become dirty in the storage area, and you label it and pass it on to the expedition. Furthermore, you work in a cold environment of around 3-4 degrees.
