Damen Cargo Vessels is een kleine en wendbare divisie van Damen Maritime Ventures, die zich voornamelijk richt op het ontwerpen en bouwen van Combi Freighters en Tankers op de meest effectieve en efficiënte manier, voornamelijk gebaseerd op seriële productie.

Damen Cargo Vessels biedt een reeks gestandaardiseerde ontwerpen die voldoen aan de huidige en toekomstige marktvragen met een goed uitgebalanceerd niveau van kwaliteit, prijs en levertijd. Geleid vanuit Gorinchem en Drachten, worden deze schepen gebouwd in China en Vietnam.

De rol

Als Project Inkoper ben je verantwoordelijk voor het gehele inkoopproces; je plaatst aanvragen, zorgt voor tijdige leveringen en verwerkt facturen. Jij als inkoper weet altijd de laatste status van leveringen en problemen en houdt deze gegevens up-to-date in ons ERP-programma. Bovendien weet je als inkoper de kosten binnen het inkoopbudget te houden en ben je sterk in het onderhouden van relaties met collega's en leveranciers.

Damen Cargo Vessels offers a range of standardized designs that meet current and future market demands with a well-balanced level of quality, price, and delivery time. Managed from Gorinchem and Drachten, these ships are built in China and Vietnam.

The role

Are you a good candidate for the position of Operational Buyer at Damen? Either now or in the near future?

As a buyer, you are responsible for the entire purchasing process; you place requests, ensure timely deliveries, and process invoices. As a buyer, you always know the latest status of deliveries and issues and keep this data up-to-date in our ERP program. Moreover, as a buyer, you keep costs within the purchasing budget and excel in maintaining relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
