Job Description :

The Factory Finance Business Partner serves as a trusted partner in the organization and provides financial leadership for the respective Site / Manufacturing Management teams (Oud Beijerland NL, Olen BE) . The primary purpose of this role is to partner with manufacturing teams in the pursuit of operational excellence and cost. Responsibilities include defining and ensuring the delivery of the financial objectives as well as realizing and judging risks and opportunities. This position provides insights on operating results and clarifies key performance indicators for value creation roadmap. Every associate at Mars has responsibility for the achievement of quality and food safety.

What are we looking for?

• Technical understanding of cost and management accounting systems and processes, capital project evaluation, and analytical techniques.
• Ability to meet deadlines under time constraints.
• Working knowledge of Supply processes (Demand Planning, S&OP, Inventory flow and control, Production Scheduling, etc.)
• General business acumen with demonstrated ability to understand the functional interdependencies
• Ability to motivate others, communicate with all levels of organization and influence decisions throughout the organization.
• Financial Insights and Analysis – strong understanding of systems and processes, as well as digital tools to derive critical insights from this information, and the effective communication of financial information and insights to the business.
• Financial Shaping and Decision Making – The knowledge and application of financial shaping philosophy and development and implementation of processes and tools used to shape the financial performance of the business and evaluate the activities and investments involved in deploying strategy.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Ability to travel to other site minimum once a quarter
• 3-5 years relevant work experience, with manufacturing or supply chain business partnering experience
