DetACT is a small, collaborative team of professionals (~ 40) dedicated in close partnership with our customers to deliver high-end customer value (detecting and preventing financial fraud) and achieving our social impact. Our have high ambitions to grow our customer base and thereby protecting even more people.

DataExpert's business unit DetACT No more Fraud (The Hague office) consists of approximately 40 (technical) professionals with a passion for technology and anti-fraud. Our services include fraud investigation and 24 / 7 cyber threat detection. We detect threats in real-time and escalate to the customer as needed, ensuring they are immediately aware of imminent danger and have access to the necessary data to take action. DetACT is used by multiple customers in the financial industry and can be deployed on-premises or in the cloud.

What do we ask of you?

The success of the DetACT department is largely determined by the availability of the service, in addition to a beautiful (self-developed) product, very experienced colleagues and the best service for our customers. As a Linux specialist, you represent the interests of both DataExpert and the customer. Together with 5 other specialists, you will be part of the System Operations team. As a team, you will ensure that the service is available to all our customers, day and night. In addition, you will spend time improving processes, monitoring, configuration management and automating recurring tasks. You will do this together with colleagues from different disciplines. You will speak with experts and provide a clear story and direction for the future of Linux environments.

You involve internal and sometimes external stakeholders at the right level and at the right time. You are flexible, solution-oriented and you set the right priorities.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Establish a Debian-based operating system by developing Ansible roles and playbooks.
• Developing scripts to perform repetitive tasks
• Managing and installing physical servers
• Technical application management of an application hosted on Linux (preferably Debian).
• Communicate with the customer in English, both in writing and orally (via Teams or by phone).
