Join a major Pharmaceutical Company in Oss as a "Life-Cycle Management Design Engineer Automation / IT".

You will take responsibility for automation efforts through all project phases – from concept to qualification – ensuring they meet business needs, while programming, configuring, and upgrading critical systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA) in a GAMP-regulated environment.

What We Offer :

Salary : Up to €7,700 gross per month
Contract : Secure employment (freelance not possible), typically starting with a contract with option for extension / permanence.

Your Impact & Responsibilities :

As a Senior Design Engineer Automation / IT, you will be responsible for the management and execution of manufacturing automation projects , ensuring efforts satisfy business requirements across all project life-cycle phases (concept, design, testing, installation, qualification, training).

Key technical responsibilities include :

System Design & Documentation : Create, update, and maintain comprehensive technical system documentation for automation and IT systems.

Programming & Configuration : Program, configure, upgrade, and replace automation systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA) and related IT infrastructure (Windows workstations / servers).

Requirements & Risk Management : Conduct thorough requirement analysis and risk assessments for new and existing systems.

Testing & Validation Support : Execute and meticulously document system tests (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ) for upgraded or replaced systems, ensuring compliance and functionality.

Project Support & Scoping : Actively support the Project Manager in scoping new projects and defining technical solutions for automation challenges.

Technical Problem Solving : Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical challenges related to automation and IT systems.

Collaboration & Reporting : Work closely with System Integrators on specific projects and report progress and deviations clearly to the Project Manager.

What You Bring (Requirements) :

Experience : Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Automation and IT projects , preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Technical Expertise (Must-Haves) : Excellent skills and practical experience with PLC and DCS systems (e.g., Siemens, B&R).

Strong proficiency with SCADA systems (e.g., iFix).

In-depth knowledge of Windows environments (Workstations and Servers), including Windows Active Directory (AD).

Proven skills in system commissioning, cybersecurity principles, and network infrastructure.

Languages : Fluent in both English and Dutch (written and verbal).

Attributes : Proactive, result-oriented, strong team player, excellent problem-solver, and highly organized.

Preferred Qualifications (Pré) :

Experience in the Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical industry.

Familiarity with GAMP guidelines and computerized system validation (CSV) principles.
