Instrumentation Engineer

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Engineer with expertise in greenfield Automation and Telecommunication detailed engineering . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation system design, specification preparation, and factory acceptance testing (FAT) for SCADA / DCS, telecommunication, and Fire & Gas detection systems. The role requires proficiency in Smart Plant Instrumentation and a strong understanding of engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review specifications, technical bid evaluations (TBE), and conduct FAT for SCADA / DCS systems .
• Oversee specifications and FAT for telecommunication systems (CCTV, PAGA, radio systems, LAN, WiFi, etc.).
• Develop detailed instrumentation design deliverables, including :
• Cable lists
• Instrument / telecom / fire detection block diagrams and layouts
• Termination diagrams
• Installation typical hookups and mounting typicals
• Loop diagrams
• Prepare key engineering deliverables such as :
• Cause and effect diagrams
• Control narratives
• Network architecture diagrams
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
