Project Engineer High Voltage

As a Project Engineer High Voltage you are the technical designer behind the systems that monitor, control and protect the entire high-voltage infrastructure. From expanding and renovating to new-build substations—your work directly supports the energy transition in the Netherlands.

    • Your responsibilities

    You’re the go-to engineer for all secondary systems within your project team. This means you develop designs and technical plans that ensure safe and reliable operation of the primary components in high-voltage substations.

    Your key tasks include :

  • Translating functional designs and client requirements into concrete design packages;
  • Engineering and verifying integrated technical solutions based on specifications, norms and legal requirements;
  • Drafting, checking and delivering high-quality drawings, technical documents and calculations;
  • Supporting the (Lead Engineer and) Technical Manager throughout all design phases, from concept to execution;
  • Identifying bottlenecks, proposing solutions and conducting quality checks.

    • Who you are

  • You have a completed HBO or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or similar;
  • You bring 2+ years of experience designing complex high or medium-voltage systems;
  • You understand the importance of availability, reliability, safety and maintainability in grid design;
  • You are communicative, analytical, proactive and results-driven.

  • Gross monthly salary : € 4.263 – € 5.950 (based on experience);
  • Year-end bonus : 3.7%;
  • Holiday allowance : 8% + 31 days off;
