The Floor Supervisor assists in the supervision of the housekeeping day-to-day operation to ensure quality standards are met and a top quality service is provided to all guests. You assign duties and inspect rooms according to standards of cleanliness, hygiene and security. You motivate, train and coach the Housekeeping team and promote a positive work environment. Together with the team you create unexpected and personalized moments of genuinely good energy.

Housekeeping

During the shift, the Housekeeping Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the cleaning of the guest rooms and the service areas. This position works closely together with the Housekeeping Coordinator and is responsible for the daily communication within the Housekeeping Department acting as a link between Housekeeping Coordinator and room attendants.

The housekeeping Floor Supervisor is key for a smooth daily operation ensuring communications runs flawlessly in the Housekeeping Department . This employee oversees the cleaning tasks, has a hands-on mentality and works together with the team to make sure all daily tasks are executed.

Therefore, daily spot checks in the rooms are part of the job description, to maintain the high standard of quality and cleanliness at Pulitzer Amsterdam.

At the beginning and the end of the shift the Floor Supervisor will check the service areas to see that they are tidy and furnished. During the whole shift he / her will make sure to inform the employee on linen shift of any items missing in the service areas.
