Job Title : Maritime Project Engineer

Location : Netherlands

Vacancy Type : Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Marine / Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience : 1-10 years in maritime or civil engineering projects.
  • Language Skills : Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).
  • Location Requirement : Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.

Beneficial requirements :

  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit), and knowledge of safety standards.
  • Project Management Skills : Experience managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.

    • Duties and responsibilities :

  • Project Management : Oversee the execution of maritime engineering projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Design and Engineering : Contribute technical expertise in the design and development of maritime systems and structures.
  • Compliance and Safety : Ensure adherence to maritime safety standards and regulations throughout project phases.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Act as the main contact between internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.
