About the Role

We are currently partnering with a well-established corporate bank in Amsterdam that is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to join their close-knit compliance team. This is a high-impact role where you will play a key part in ensuring the bank's adherence to regulatory requirements, conducting compliance monitoring, and managing financial crime risks.

This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned compliance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is looking to take ownership of a broad range of compliance topics within a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance : Monitor and interpret relevant Dutch and EU regulations, advising the business on compliance obligations and regulatory developments.
• Compliance Monitoring : Design and execute the compliance monitoring plan, conduct reviews, and report findings to senior management.
• Financial Crime : Oversee AML / CTF, sanctions screening, and anti-bribery and corruption frameworks. Support investigations and SAR reporting.
• Advisory & Training : Provide day-to-day compliance advice to business units and deliver training sessions to enhance compliance awareness.
• Policy Development : Draft, review, and update internal compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory expectations.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Liaise with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
