About the Job :
As a Junior Controller, you will be an integral member of our Finance team, assisting in various financial activities to support effective decision-making and ensure accurate financial reporting. This position offers a unique opportunity for career development and growth within the finance function while working in a dynamic and international environment.
You will be responsible for :
Managing cashflow by processing daily cashflow movements and executing payments.
Preparing periodical cashflow projections.
Managing fixed assets ledger including leasing.
Monitoring project progress and providing economic justification for project applications.
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis, budget vs. actuals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Assist in analyzing financial data and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Assisting with internal and external audits.
Partially maintaining the general ledger in accordance with local laws and global accounting standards (IFRS).
Supporting month-end closings and preparing financial reports.
Actively participating in improving processes within the finance department.
Maintaining contacts with internal teams (production, operations) and external parties such as auditors, banks, and tax advisors.
About you :
Education and Work Experience :
Completed higher professional education (business economics, accountancy, or similar)
1 to 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a production or chemical environment
Knowledge and Skills :
Thorough knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles
Experience with month-end closings, audits, and cost price analyses
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S / 4 HANA
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
Proactive and result-oriented attitude
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Team player with good communication skills
