This Position reports to :

Shift Leader

Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the entire machine park in the injection moulding plant at ABB. Your main task is to monitor and manufacture products with injection moulding machines, robots and other peripheral equipment. Every day is different within this dynamic organisation. Tasks range from setting up a machine, changing a mould to adjusting a robot or checking quality.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business area in The Netherlands. Main stakeholders are local product group manager and business office of our plant in Ede.

You will be mainly accountable for :

• Fixing technical malfunctions.
• Registering production progress in SAP and MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
• Taking care of (preventive) maintenance of the machines.

Our team dynamics :

The factory in Ede is the production location for low-voltage components. Products that make applications in buildings smarter. In the machine park of the injection moulding plant, there are 3 shifts working 24 hours out of 5 days making all 600 products. Many types of materials are worked with in the factory. You will work together with other operators and the shift manager. Together with your team, you are responsible for safety of yourself and others in the factory. Following the 5S Lean programme, you work with your colleagues on workplace optimisation.

Knowledge of injection molding.

Technical affinity

Willingness to share responsibility and work in a 3-shift operation.

Available to work a weekend shift once every 6 weeks.
