Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient execution of engineering projects.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Supporting the end-to-end delivery of capital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Collaborating with internal teams, external suppliers, and contractors to define clear project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Preparing and maintaining accurate technical documentation, including specifications, risk assessments, and project progress reports.
Ensuring strict adherence to Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and Food Safety standards at every stage of the project.Participating in engineering reviews to ensure designs and installations meet company standards and comply with regulatory requirements.Overseeing construction and installation activities, coordinating with third-party partners and service providers.Communicating regular project updates, including progress, risks, and mitigation actions, to the Engineering Manager.Contributing to the continuous improvement of project management processes and technical best practices.About you
To be successful in the role you need :
Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering or project management in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Process Engineering (or equivalent).Proven experience working on technical projects with multiple stakeholders.Fluency in Dutch and English is preferred.Strong communication and organizational skills.Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar software.What we prefer :
Project Management training or certification (, PMP, IPMA, or similar).Experience in the Oil & Fat industry or Food Processing environments.Knowledge of Stage & Gate project processes.In return AAK offers
