Job Title : Senior Embedded Systems Test Engineer

Location : Eindhoven, Netherlands

Salary : €50,000 – €70,000 per year

Contract : Permanent, Full-Time

A leading high-tech company is looking for a Senior Embedded Systems Test Engineer to join an internal R&D team focused on delivering cutting-edge solutions that improve lives through smarter, safer, and more efficient technologies. This is a senior-level opportunity for engineers with a passion for quality, innovation, and long-term professional development.

What You'll Do

  • Develop automated test software and tools in C, C++ and Python to validate complex embedded systems.
  • Design, implement, and optimise scalable test solutions.
  • Explore and evaluate multiple technical approaches to achieve the best results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders in a multidisciplinary, Agile environment .
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to peer code reviews.
  • Be a trusted advisor and sparring partner to customers and team members, driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in software development using Python and C / C++ in a high-tech setting.
  • Strong background in software testing for embedded systems.
  • Experience with end-to-end test automation , CI pipelines , and ideally, the ROBOT test framework .
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of English , both written and verbal.
