About the Role

ALTEN Netherlands is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support a high-tech manufacturing project focused on the assembly, integration, and testing of precision systems . The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background, with hands-on experience in quality processes , visual inspection , and cleanroom environments , preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.

This role requires a proactive professional who thrives in technically complex environments and can collaborate effectively across engineering and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee quality control and inspection activities during all stages of assembly and integration
• Ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols and manufacturing standards
• Apply knowledge of materials , mechanical systems, and production techniques to support quality assurance
• Utilize MIS systems to track quality metrics, documentation, and process improvements
• Perform and document visual inspections and validation of mechanical assemblies
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to address non-conformities and drive continuous improvement
