Job Description :

You play a central role in one or more scrum teams at your client. Every customer is in a different phase of the agile transition, so we cannot yet say exactly what your role as a scrum master will look like. Together we look at which assignment suits your qualities and ambitions. Perhaps you guide a just started scrum teams to the next level of maturity. Or you can use your knowledge to make an advanced scrum team completely self-organizing. Our customers are all large organizations within the Financial Services industry with major IT challenges. You help them to make their organization agile and to realize good cooperation between business and IT. So that they can respond better and faster to changes.

  • Fosters self-organization, meaning that the team itself should remove issues wherever possible
  • The Scrum Master helps everyone improve to make the team more productive and valuable.
  • Helps the product owner understand how to create and maintain the product backlog.
  • Works with the entire team to evolve the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
  • Works with the team to find and implement the agile practices needed to get to Done at the end of each sprint.
  • Ensures that the process is followed, including issuing invitations to daily standups, review meetings, planning meetings and retrospectives
  • Stimulates close cooperation across all roles and functions
  • Remove impediments to the ability of the team to work towards the Iteration Goal. Encourages team members to solve impediments their selves.
  • Track daily progress to update the forecasted functionality (make burn down / up charts).

  • support the Product Owner with backlog management and maximizing the value for our customers.
  • share knowledge with your fellow Scrum Masters
  • facilitate the team in becoming an excellent and self-organizing team.

    • Competences :

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant direction.
  • Open for learning new skills.
  • See possibilities, not bears.
  • Experience with stakeholder management.
  • Minimum of 5 years as a Scrum Master in IT teams.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Agile Way of Working (Scrum / Kanban).
  • PSM 1 certified.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience in working at the corporate financial industry (banking)
