Role : Head of Air Freight Procurement & Pricing Europe

Salary : €100,000-€120,000 EUR Gross Basic Salary + Bonus + Car

Location : Amsterdam, Netherlands or Frankfurt, Germany

The Client :

Axzel Search is working with a leading global Freight Forwarding & Logistics company searching for an experienced Procurement / Pricing professional to support a new global Airfreight product strategy.

The Role :

Support the European Head in with procurement / Pricing on a global airfreight strategy.
Select the most suitable suppliers company needs.
Yearly tender, carrier management, managing a team of buyers in globally.
Control cost on all Airfreight trade lanes, import & export ensuring they are aligned with the global strategy
Negotiations with Airfreight carriers.
Monitor all customer relationships and performance.

The Requirements :

The ideal candidate will be based already in Amsterdam or Frankfurt.

Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year college or university or equivalent.

Minimum of 8 years pricing & or procurement experience.

Ideally the candidate will be able to demonstrate experience within Air Freight Forwarding.

Excellent organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal skills.

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.

Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.

Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently.
