We, The Offshore Partners , are looking for a Buyer to support our client in their projects.

Our client is a leading supplier of maritime technology, provides worldwide with a clear competitive edge in the dredging, offshore, mining and defence industry.

As a buyer, you will contribute to the further professionalization of the Purchasing department, with a strong focus on an optimal supply chain. You negotiate prices and delivery times and ensure timely and complete deliveries.

Your Responsibilities :

• Preparation of application specifications.
• Advising users on newly developed products and materials from suppliers.
• Requesting materials and services in both local and international markets, obtaining quotations and assessing them on price and technical aspects.
• Exploring the supplier market for new products, capabilities and delivery reliability.
• Visits from suppliers to assess their suitability for delivery.
• Selecting suppliers based on price, delivery time, quality, functional and technical requirements, and supplier performance, and continuously improving the supply chain.
• Monitoring supplier performance.
• Make proposals to optimize the procurement process.
• Providing reports within hierarchical and functional lines.
