Litigation Lawyer

Our client will give you the opportunity to use your legal expertise to support claimants in (mass) damage proceedings. Firm cases are at the intersection of civil liability law, international private law, competition law and regulations on unfair trade practices.

In the compact and close-knit team in Amsterdam, you will take on significant responsibility from day one and will have the space to develop yourself. You will work in an innovative and challenging practice, where your legal insights contribute to legal development. This includes handling mass damage claims under the new collective action regime (WAMCA) and guiding procedures before the Court of Justice of the European Union.

As an associate lawyer, you will play a key role. You will work closely with clients, liaise directly with external experts and lawyers and actively contribute to expanding the practice. Entrepreneurship and initiative are highly encouraged, allowing you to reach your full potential.

Suitable candidates will have a completed Master’s degree in Law (with civil effect) in the Netherlands and will have at least three years of experience as a lawyer (in training) in the Netherlands. Experience with, or interest in, cartel damages and other proceedings within European and competition law is a plus. Excellent written and spoken proficiency in both Dutch and English are musts.
