Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone with a passion for food and beverage and at least 1 year experience in a similar position or Hotel Management School Education. Experience in a signature restaurant or destination bar would be an advantage.

To be successful in this position you will have :

  • Guest focus, maintaining the highest standards of authentic service to create memorable guest experiences every time.
  • Excellent communication skills to create connections with diverse customers and share information clearly.
  • Great teamwork and a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and focused under pressure.

The perfect candidate is fluent in English (Dutch language skills and POS systems knowledge would be an advantage).

    This position is available both full-time and part-time and will require working weekends and / or evening shifts. Position requirements also include being able to walk and stand for hours.

    Bedrijfsomschrijving

    DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station is al meer dan tien jaar een van de meest iconische hotels van de hoofdstad. Het hotel is centraal gelegen en biedt adembenemende uitzichten, buitengewone service en meerdere food & drinks-locaties. Het hotel staat vooral bekend om zijn rooftop bar, maar beschikt ook over vijftien vergaderzalen en een koffiecorner. Het team van DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station is enorm divers, vol energie en enthousiasme, wat essentieel is aangezien het hotel tijdens drukke weekenden meer dan 1.000 gasten per dag verwelkomt!

    Spannend nieuws! Het hotel ondergaat momenteel een ingrijpende transformatie. Niet alleen worden alle kamers en suites opnieuw ingericht in de kenmerkende Amsterdamse School-stijl, maar ook alle restaurants en bars worden gerenoveerd, gerebrand en gepositioneerd. Vorig jaar opende rooftop bar LuminAir, THE BAR ABOVE AMSTERDAM, op de 11e verdieping, en onlangs verwelkomde het hotel de nieuwe koffiezaak LOT61, op de hoek van DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station. Bovendien zijn we verheugd aan te kondigen dat er in oktober een gloednieuw restaurant wordt geopend, dat een uitzonderlijke culinaire ervaring zal bieden en ons culinaire aanbod verder zal versterken.
