Position : Cable Installation Consultant

Location : Netherlands (Offshore & Onshore Work)

Sector : Offshore Wind

Contract Duration : 12 Months (Strong Possibility of Extension)

We are currently supporting a leading subsea cable solutions provider in the Netherlands on a major offshore wind project. They are seeking an experienced Cable Installation Consultant to join their team on an initial 12-month freelance contract, with a strong possibility of extension. This role will play a key part in the successful delivery of critical cable installation operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and oversee both onshore and offshore cable installation activities.
Prepare method statements and installation procedures, ensuring all operations align with safety and quality standards.
Provide technical support during offshore campaigns, addressing any installation challenges.
Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements :

Proven experience in subsea cable installation within the offshore wind or marine sector.

Solid technical knowledge of either HVDC, export, or inter-array cable systems.

Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage external interfaces.

Degree qualified in engineering or a related field.

Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.
