The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance Associate to join the firm’s global compliance team based in Amsterdam. In this role, you will help develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations within a MiFID investment firm environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor and surveil trading activities to ensure regulatory compliance
Conduct training and onboarding related to compliance policies for staff
Document and update compliance policies and procedures
Manage regulatory reporting and communications
Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices
Collaborate with global teams on compliance initiatives and business advisory
Support the team with the implementation of new policies and day-to-day compliance matters

About You :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

At least 3 years’ relevant experience at or with MiFID investment firms, preferably dealing on own account

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask independently

Experience at a regulatory agency (e.g., AFM), knowledge of derivative markets, or legal background is a plus

Comfortable using general computer applications

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Willingness to learn the full compliance function and contribute hands-on to a variety of tasks, both routine and complex
