Position Summary :

At LG Sonic, we deliver innovative water quality monitoring and algae control solutions worldwide. You will optimize our existing water-quality monitoring station and spearhead the development of a next-generation PLC-based system that manages pumps and valves for reservoir water intake and parameter measurement. The role extends to designing control strategies for efficient operation and setting up a small-scale assembly line for production. Position duties and responsibilities :

• Optimize and evaluate existing system, identify bottlenecks, and implement design improvements to maximize reliability and energy efficiency.
• Design & program PLC systems : develop, test, and commission control logic on CODESYS supported PLCs using IEC 61131-3 languages (ST, LD, SFC, IL).
• Specify and interface pumps, valves, sensors, safety interlocks, and instrumentation; ensure compliance with relevant electrical and process-control standards.
• Create and optimize algorithms along with battery management strategies that deliver stable, high-performance operation.
• Create modular code in C / C++ (and Python when required); manage repositories in Git, enforcing branching, code-review, and CI / CD best practices.
• Collaborate with other teams to deploy AI / IoT analytics and real-time dashboards to anticipate failures and minimize downtime.
• Design workstations, tooling, test fixtures, SOPs, and QA checklists to enable small series production of the monitoring station.
• Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols to ensure reliable data exchange.
• Collaborate and work closely with mechanical, electrical, firmware, data-science, and field-service teams to deliver fully integrated solutions on schedule.
• Maintain clear technical documentation, risk analyses, and status updates for stakeholders; provide training and hand-over materials for production and service teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
