What will I be doing as a Key Account Manager?

  • Explore and develop new business opportunities
  • Manage and maintain excellent relationships with existing key account portfolio - primarily located in the North West region
  • Support customers on a day to day basis, working with other teams to ensure first class service is provided
  • Promote the Carrier Way
  • Drive sales performance to meet SIC targets

To be successful in this role you will :

  • Proven experience developing and managing key accounts
  • Technical background within transport refrigeration would be a bonus
  • Ability to engage with senior executives and create demand for new solutions.
  • Proven experience and ability to develop and execute consultative sales strategies that drive value growth for customers.
  • Proven ability to influence and work effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities and ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal across a wide audience. This includes the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Willingness to travel and stay out overnight
  • Strong negotiation skills : ability to understand contractual, legal language
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
