Who are we?

In 1986, Rattan Chadha took his men’s brand ‘Moustache’ and women’s brand ‘Emanuelle’ and joined them together. Take the first letter of each and add two kisses : Mexx was born.

Who are we looking for?

As a Graphic designer working in the fashion Department you will take ownership of the graphic and allover prints of the collection next to branding and labelling design. You will support the sales- and marketing team with the creation of a seasonal online collection book. You have a lot of freedom and responsibility and are not afraid to show your creativity. You closely monitor and analyze market developments and you’re able to see opportunities and to respond with the most beautiful designs and graphics. You will work closely with the other graphic designers, the designers in the team and the Head of Product womenswear for the planning and development of the seasonal collections. In addition, you feel at home in the speed and dynamics enviremont. As a colleague you are a positive and motivational member of the team.

What are your responsibilities?

• Designing of Placement Graphics, Allover Prints and branding related artworks;
• Making the Graphics and Artworks development and production ready and putting them in the PLM system;
• Handeling the communication with suppliers about development of all graphic related matters;
• Take ownership of the entire design process together with the rest of the Graphic team and Design;
• Actively track and proactively researching trends and performing market research that works into the Mexx brand strategy;
• Translating trends into a commercial collection together with the other Designers and Head of Product womenswear;
• Creating Seasonal collection books together with the Graphic team and marketing;
• Generating colorcards and handeling trim and label design;
• Working closely and communicate daily on issues and changes that arise from the development of designs selected with the team in the office next to suppliers and officesabroad;
• Able to help find solutions to any problems that may come up during the development process;
• Preparing Graphic sheets and overviews of the collection each season for the Head of Product and sales.
