Project Engineer

G2 Recruitment is currently searching for a Project Engineer with a Mechanical background to join our client's growing team based near to Tilburg, Netherlands.

They are an equipment manufacturer in the Oil & Gas industry, and their team have a number of large scale projects coming up, which will offer you the chance to have a dynamic role working with globally recognised international clients.

The client is particularly interested in candidates with experience working on project engineering / coordination in the Oil & Gas industry, with any hands on design engineering experience with mechanical process equipment being beneficial.

THE CLIENT WILL CONSIDER PERMANENT CANDIDATES, NOT FREELANCE – English Speaking

START : June, July, August 2025

LOCATION : Tilburg area, Netherlands

WORK PATTERN : 1x day a week from home, 38 days holiday per year (25 annual leave + 13 ADV)

SALARY : €4,000 - €5,500 per month + 8 % + bonus

Project Engineer

• Bachelor's degree / background in Mechanical Engineering
• Working history in the Oil and Gas or similar highly regulated industries
• Experience working on project engineering / management in the Oil & Gas industry, with knowledge of relevant industry standards and certifications
• Hands on engineering design with equipment such as compressors, pressure vessels and tanks, etc. very beneficial
• Fluent English is essential, Dutch is preferred but not essential

The client has advised they have an immediate requirement for the mechanical project engineer to join them. The client has multiple large projects coming up, so the role comes with the opportunity for development and to climb the company ladder

They would be happy to have candidates based in Netherlands already or would be prepared to move to the North Brabant region.
