A prestigious global consultancy located in Amsterdam seeking a IT Risk Consultant for a significant engagement.

Overview : Drive enterprise-wide M365 platform security by managing, mitigating, and reporting risks across 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defence to maintain organisational risk tolerance.

Job Description :

  • Risk Leadership : Serve as primary point of contact for all risk-related matters within the IT Employee Productivity & Collaboration area (Office 365)
  • Strategic Support : Partner with Product Managers and IT Area Leaders to ensure timely risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Security Collaboration : Work closely with IT Security teams to implement and maintain security measures and compliance policies across all services
  • Agile Operations : Thrive in a dynamic, agile environment with autonomy to prioritise projects and drive proactive solutions alongside Product Managers and Area Leaders

Requirements :

  • Education : Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, IT Audit, IT Risk, IT Security, or equivalent experience
  • Platform Expertise : Proven experience managing complex hybrid M365 environments in multinational enterprises, with relevant certifications
  • Regulatory Knowledge : Current understanding of IT security principles and regulatory frameworks (DORA, EBA, GDPR) applicable to M365 services
  • Risk Translation : Ability to convert identified risks into clear, actionable mitigation plans with realistic timelines
  • Outsourcing Acumen : Understanding of end-to-end accountability across multi-vendor service delivery at operational, tactical, and strategic levels
  • Regulated Environment Experience : Preferably worked in highly regulated sectors (financial services) with clear segregation between Risk, Audit, Security, and Cyber Security functions
