Finance Manager

Job Description

As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of a contract within the Netherlands business.

You will play a key role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of our catering and hospitality units. You will ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with internal controls, and effective collaboration with both site and central teams.

Key responsibilities :

• Manage day-to-day in-unit bookkeeping systems, including processing purchase invoices and credit notes, daily revenue and cash reconciliation, stock transfer calculations, waste reporting, and weekly accounting closures.
• Submit weekly financial documentation to the central finance team.
• Maintain and manage accrual-related documentation (e.g. free issues, beverages, agency staff, and vending).
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual client reporting suites under a Cost Plus contract structure.
• Reconcile and report on client stock levels and variances.
• Produce client-specific analytical and performance reports.
• Prepare and post monthly accruals and journal entries.
• Review and submit Profit & Loss accounts.
• Issue monthly client invoices with appropriate backup documentation.
• Deliver quarterly financial reports to clients.
• Lead budgeting processes and perform balance sheet reconciliations for both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee and process weekly payroll activities.
