Location : Aalsmeer / Frequent international travel | Full-time

SolidNature is looking for a world-class Sourcing Manager.

We design and create extraordinary architectural and interior experiences using natural stone. To make this possible, we source the world’s finest raw materials — directly from quarries and suppliers across the globe. We are now looking for a Sourcing Manager to lead and refine our global procurement strategy for raw stone materials.

This is not a desk-bound role. You will travel frequently to inspect quarries, negotiate deals, and build strong relationships with suppliers in Europe, Asia, South America, and beyond.

Your Role : At the source of every project

As Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, selecting, and purchasing the raw natural stone that forms the foundation of SolidNature’s iconic projects.

  • You will :
  • Travel worldwide to source blocks and slabs of stone directly from quarries and suppliers.
  • Build long-term supplier relationships and understand local cultural dynamics.
  • Evaluate the aesthetic and technical quality of natural stone — selecting only the finest materials.
  • Negotiate favorable terms while maintaining the highest standards in quality and ethics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (design, production, logistics) to match materials to project specifications and timelines.
  • Manage supply risks and solve problems quickly, including material delays, quality issues or logistical challenges.
  • Monitor and optimize international logistics, ensuring timely and cost-efficient transportation.

You are : Analytical, Aesthetic and adaptable

This is a unique role that blends design sensibility, commercial acumen, and logistical expertise. You must be technically savvy, culturally aware, and relentlessly curious.

You bring :

  • Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management (preferably in natural materials, construction, or design industries).
  • A strong sense for aesthetics, detail, and quality — ideally with a background or affinity for design or architecture.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities — able to manage multiple priorities across regions and time zones.
  • Solid understanding of international logistics and customs processes.
  • Outstanding communication skills in English (other languages are a plus).
  • Willingness to travel internationally, sometimes on short notice.
