What you’ll be doing
- Writing, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs for 3- and 5-axis milling machines
- Setting up and fine-tuning CNC machines for production
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, work orders, and product specification
- Monitoring product quality during the machining process
- Troubleshooting programming-related issues and correcting deviations quickly and efficiently
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, 5S, and process optimization
- Collaborating with engineers to determine optimal work sequences and ensure manufacturability
- Working with tight tolerances, including shape and position requirements
What we need
You bring a strong technical foundation, ideally with an MBO or HBO-level background (or equivalent through experience)You have at least 5 years of hands-on experience as a CNC miller, preferably in plastics or metalworking environmentsYou have 3 to 5 years of experience with external programming for both 3- and 5-axis milling machinesExperience with OneCNC software is a strong plus, though not a mustYou are confident communicating in English, both spoken and written.
