We’re Hiring : Lead PHP Developer

Location : Netherlands (Hybrid or Remote within NL)

Are you a seasoned PHP Developer with a passion for clean code, team leadership, and scalable backend systems? We’re looking for someone to take charge of our backend development efforts and guide a growing team to new heights.

As our Lead PHP Developer , you’ll play a crucial role in designing and delivering robust, high-performance applications while mentoring engineers and driving technical decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing :

Leading and mentoring a team of PHP developers
Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions
Collaborating with product, DevOps, and front-end teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Driving code quality, architecture decisions, and technical best practices
Performing code reviews, optimising performance, and ensuring security standards

What We’re Looking For :

6+ years of PHP development experience (Laravel or Symfony preferred)

Proven leadership or team lead experience

Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, MySQL / PostgreSQL, and scalable architecture

Experience with CI / CD pipelines and version control (Git)

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions

Based in the Netherlands (or open to relocating)

Bonus Points :

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

Familiarity with front-end technologies (Vue.js, React, etc.)

Previous experience working in agile or fast-paced product environments
