Albert Bow have partnered with a leading global trading firm who are seeking a Senior C++ Developer to join its trading systems team. This firm operates on major exchanges worldwide and is a top player in the HFT, market making and liquidity provision. Responsibilities
- Work closely with Quant Researchers to develop and optimise trading systems across various markets.
- This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills, deep technical expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
3+ years of professional experience as a C++ developer.Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++17 and newer).Deep understanding of computer systems, including operating systems, networks, and performance optimisation.Expertise in Linux.Experience working with complex architecture and high-load systems.Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.A strong desire to learn and share knowledge with the team.Nice to Have
Experience developing low-latency trading systems.Proficiency in Python.Knowledge of network stack (L1, L2, TCP, UDP).Understanding of modern x86-x64 architecture.Experience in competitive programming contests (e.g., IOI, ICPC, HashCode) or CTF challenges.What’s on Offer
