Your Role in Our Story :
As an experienced manager in clean energy regulation, this role is responsible for ensuring that ACT can develop innovative new market-based products, suitable for the region, that enable end-to-end, sustainable decarbonization. Reporting to the Global Director, R&D and Sustainability. The role is based in Amsterdam, and requires occasional travel, both within Europe and to other destinations. In essence, your role involves :
- Develop and deliver a complex portfolio of innovative products for EMEA that is informed by regional and national regulatory developments and sustainability standards and guidance. The emphasis is on Europe.
- Manage and develop of a team of experts in regulation and environmental product development that is focused on the EMEA region.
- Develop and share regulatory intelligence and deep technical understanding of supply / demand fundamentals of carbon and renewable energy markets with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate transactions, support commercial teams, and provide input into industry and regulatory processes.
- Collaborate globally on product development with other regional R&D teams, and other teams within ACT as appropriate.
- Represent ACT at eg, trade association meetings, exhibitions, and conferences.

10+ years’ work experience that provides a deep understanding of clean energy regulation markets in the region – renewable energy, fuels, and carbon markets.High commercial acumen with a strong track record of using regulations to inform the development of new products.Proven ability to develop, motivate, and nurture a talented team of specialistsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills.A commercial and creative mindset, strong collaboration skillsFluency in English is expected; additional fluency in French, German, or Italian is helpful.University educated, ideally with post-graduate qualification having a strong analytical componentIf you meet these criteria and are ready to contribute your expertise to a dynamic and challenging environment, we encourage you to apply.
