- Manage a designated sales region in the Netherlands (MUST RESIDE in the Netherlands)
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors and key end-user customers
- Grow revenues from existing and new customers, including distributors, wholesalers, buying groups, and end-users, per annual territory objectives
- Conduct seminars and product installations for all existing and new Unger products and systems
- Train customers on Unger systems and products on-site
- Support sales activities by demonstrating Unger solutions to end-users
- Organize, manage, and participate in regional, buying group, and national trade shows
- Join regional and local trade and end-user associations as required
- Forecast revenues by customer and product for the territory
- Submit an annual written sales plan, focusing on quarterly activities
- Negotiate with distributors and end-users within pre-approved limits
- Submit all pricing deviations for approval to the Country Manager Benelux
- Provide weekly written sales reports as per the company Sales System
- Maintain written records of all customer agreements and submit records via the Sales System
- Manage local and regional key accounts to meet stated goals
- Implement the annual sales plan
- Assist Finance in credit checks and bad debt collection as needed
- Monitor and report immediately on competitor products and marketing activities
- Coordinate and participate in sales forecasting activities
- Work closely with other members of the sales team
- Minimum completed vocational degree in sales or a related area
- Several years of industry or related sales experience (minimum of 5 years)
- Knowledge of the cleaning / hygiene industry
- Proven track record of continual sales growth and sales management experience
- Must be fluent in Dutch and English
