We empower the aviation security industry by pursuing continuous excellence and driving change at airports globally, but mainly in Europe. Our focus is on advising airport companies, security operators, governmental organizations, and equipment manufacturers in achieving optimized security checkpoint environments. Through a data-driven skillset, including process insights, security scenario modeling, and simulations, we ensure that security technology implementation aligns with local airport processes, procedures and strategy.

We look for an additional consulting team member with an analytical and client-facing profile. We embrace self-starting colleagues that pursue ownership over projects, draw up analytical parts independently and ensure clear presentation of insights to our international client base. We love to translate data-driven insights into airport operational storylines.

Your day-to-day tasks will include client alignment meetings and presentations, analyzing processes and delivering insights, conducting security scenario modeling and concept designs, utilizing data-driven insights to develop new security concepts. Your end-goal will be to ensure the effective implementation of security technology and achieve the optimal balance between all requirements set by the Airport or OEM for current or new security checkpoint concepts.

Your role at Point FWD

This role involves short-term and long-term consulting assignments with international clients, primarily airports, to develop, design, assess, improve, and optimize their aviation security assets and processes. Below are some key focus areas, when becoming our new Aviation Security Consultant :

• Lead security innovation projects – Manage projects that introduce new screening technologies and optimized security concepts at airports.
• Client advisory and consulting – Guide international clients through security screening transitions, from equipment procurement to operational rollout.
• Process optimization and design – Develop and implement data-driven solutions for checkpoint performance, capacity planning, and passenger flow.
• Stakeholder management – Collaborate with airports, government bodies, and OEMs to align security strategies with evolving industry standards.
• Technology trials and pilots – Oversee security technology pilots, from testing new CT scanners to evaluating AI-based security analytics.
• Simulation and modelling – Use fast-time simulation and digital tools to assess the impact of security design changes before implementation.
• Regulatory and compliance support – Ensure alignment with aviation security regulations (ECAC, TSA, ICAO) while optimizing processes.
