Over de functie

As a Warehouse Operator, you are responsible for the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing goods. Your tasks include loading products, unloading semi-finished products, and operating logistics equipment such as palletizers, hand scanners, forklifts, and shuttle systems. Additionally, you will be involved in inventory management and troubleshooting first-line faults in logistics equipment. You will also perform several administrative tasks, such as processing and reviewing transport documents. In this role, you will work closely with your colleagues and supervisors to coordinate the logistics process effectively. This includes directing drivers and ensuring a smooth transition to the next shift. Your role is crucial in ensuring the logistics processes run smoothly and contribute to the efficient operation of the entire team.

Your new employer is a food industry producer that operates not only in the Netherlands but has also positioned itself in more than 20 countries within and outside Europe. The company is based in Sint Nicolaasga, where you will work in a team of about 200 colleagues. Together, you will strive to deliver the best product to customers. With in-depth market and product knowledge, the company helps both its clients and itself seize opportunities and grow further.

Wat wij vragen

• Possession of a (reach)forklift certificate;
• You have an mbo-3 level of thinking and working;
• You are knowledgeable about logistics processes and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS);
• A passion for the food industry;
• You are stress-resistant and can switch quickly;
• You are available full-time and willing to work in a 5-shift schedule. This means you will work two morning shifts, two afternoon shifts, and two night shifts, followed by four days off. This averages 33.6 hours per wee;
• You have your own transportation;
• You speak Dutch or English.
