We are looking for an Electronics Design Engineer for our client.

Our client has successfully grown into an internationally recognized leader in high-performance turbomachinery for Aerospace clients such as Airbus, Boeing and Lockheed Martin. Our client employs over 250 professionals across four locations in the Netherlands and Romania. This role is situated on the Technology Base in Enschede.
The engineering challenge
The e-compressor forms the ideal basis for advanced air and thermal management solutions. It compresses air to enable cooling, heating, and pressure control in everything from aircraft cabins an refridgerators, wing de-icing, and supporting the engine by managing airflow for functions like fuel tank inerting and environmental control. As the aerospace industry accelerates toward net zero emission, our client is pushing technical boundaries to further optimize e-compressor performance. For engineers, this means tackling challenges like real- time control of ultra high-speed rotating systems, compact integration of electronics, and ensuring reliability in safety-critical environments.
The challenge as a Electronics Design Engineer
We are looking for a new team member to strengthen the Electric Drives team with a focus on the design and development of advanced printed circuit boards (PCBs). You will be actively involved in the full lifecycle of electronic hardware development.
Your main responsibility will be the design and realization of complex PCBs that drive our high-speed electric compressors. These compressors demand exceptional reliability, compactness, and efficiency, and your work will directly influence their performance.
Together with your team, you’ll push the boundaries of what’s possible in the field of electric drives, incorporating cutting-edge technologies such as Silicon Carbide (SiC) power electronics, sensorless control algorithms, and high-frequency switching topologies.
