We are currently looking for an Electronics Designer – Computing Platforms to join the development team of our high-tech client in Eindhoven. In this role, you will play a key part in the definition, design, and realization of high-performance computer system electronics that power next-generation semiconductor manufacturing machines. This is a unique opportunity to bring your electronics design expertise to a multidisciplinary environment focused on technical excellence and innovation.

What you’ll be doing as an Electronics Designer – Computing Platforms :

Designing and realizing custom and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) electronics for high-performance computing systems.
Defining, documenting, and maintaining electronic hardware requirements for servers, networking, and storage products.
Contributing to the architecture and integration of electronic hardware into complex mechatronic systems.
Supporting the entire product lifecycle , from concept definition through design, testing, and validation.
Executing functional and performance tests to validate hardware performance.
Resolving electronics-related issues during integration and prototyping phases .
Managing interactions with external suppliers for outsourced hardware modules.
Interfacing closely with software engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
Acting as a technical expert for production and field support teams .
Identifying trends and opportunities to innovate in electronics design , testing, and documentation.

What you need to be successful as an Electronics Designer :

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, ICT, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in electronics design, preferably in computing platforms or high-tech environments.

Solid understanding of electronic hardware design principles , including multi-processor boards, network switches, and storage systems.

Experience with system integration in a multidisciplinary setting (hardware, software, mechanics).

Knowledge of operating systems, communication protocols , and storage architectures .

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies .

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus.
