Purpose of the job
AkzoNobel’s Internal Audit Function (IAF) plays a vital role in strengthening governance, risk management, and internal control across our global operations. We're seeking a proactive and skilled Audit Manager to join our international team. This is a dynamic role that combines audit execution, stakeholder engagement, and leadership responsibilities—ideal for professionals who want to make an impact in a complex, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
As an Audit Manager, you’ll lead independent, risk-based audits and act as a business partner for one or more Business Units or Functional Areas.
One of the Functional Areas is the Information Technology department – therefore a good understanding of IT operations (ITIL / DevOps), technologies (e.g. SAAS, Azure cloud), and 3rd party assurance methods, is required.
