Job Description

Our client is transforming legacy infrastructure in the $8TN+ securities finance market through cutting edge technology. With teams in Amsterdam and New York, they’ve built a cloud native, SEC registered trading platform that replaces outdated systems used by major institutions like DTCC. Their mission : bring transparency and efficiency to a complex market through engineering excellence.

The Role : Frontend Engineer

You’ll build intuitive interfaces for a high stakes trading platform used by institutional clients. This isn’t just CRUD apps, you’ll design

UIs that :

  • Simplify complex securities lending workflows (pre trade, lifecycle management, reporting)
  • Handle real time market data at scale
  • Balance user needs with technical constraints

Tech Stack :

  • Core : React (or Vue.js), TypeScript
  • Bonus : Go / Python, e2e testing, UX design tools

    • What You’ll Do

  • Own frontend projects end to end from wireframes to implementation
  • Optimize workflows for users navigating large datasets
  • Collaborate with traders, engineers, and product teams across time zones
  • Uphold near 100% uptime SLAs (financial grade reliability)

    • Who You Are

  • 3+ years  frontend experience (React / Vue.js / Angular + TypeScript)
  • Startup-tested : Thrived in scaling environments with diverse users
  • Experience working within B2B capital markets, including exchanges, trading venues, and settlement ecosystems
  • Detail-obsessed : Builds interfaces that are  both  pixel-perfect and functional
  • You live in the Netherlands!

    • Nice-to-Haves :

  • Vue.js expertise
  • Backend familiarity (Go / Python)
  • Experience with OMS / SOR systems or trading algorithms
