ENG Bauen is partnering with a pioneering technology company with industry leading expertise on converting non-recyclable waste into clean fuels and circular chemicals. As part of their continued growth across Europe, they are looking to appoint a Principal Process Engineer to take a leading role in the design and execution of capital projects that directly contribute to the global energy transition.

This is a senior technical leadership role, ideal for a highly experienced Process Engineer who thrives in dynamic project environments and has a strong background in front-end engineering design (FEED), process safety, and multidisciplinary coordination. You will lead and mentor a team of process engineers, own technical delivery from concept through to commissioning, and collaborate closely with engineering contractors, licensors, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of process engineering across the full project lifecycle from early feasibility studies through to detailed design, construction support, and commissioning.
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams, providing technical oversight, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring high-quality, compliant deliverables.
• Act as a senior point of contact for process engineering across multiple internal and external stakeholders, supporting project execution and business development activities.
• Coordinate with engineering partners, vendors, and technology licensors during design reviews, package development, and technical clarification processes.
• Support estimating, proposals, and resource planning efforts, providing accurate input on man-hour forecasts, technical deliverables, and project schedules.
• Monitor performance metrics across your discipline and ensure consistent application of company standards and industry best practices.
