Finance Systems Cutover Lead

The Finance Systems Cutover Lead will be responsible for overseeing and managing the cutover activities for system configuration and set-up of SAP, Workday and CRM tooling's. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring seamless data migration, and minimizing business disruption during the process. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system cutovers, particularly with SAP and Workday, and possess strong project management and leadership skills. Must have experience with P2P and OTC and working together with R2R.

Key Responsibilities :

• Cutover Planning and Execution :
• Develop detailed cutover plans, timelines, and checklists
• Coordinate all cutover activities, including data migration, system testing, and validation
• Ensure all cutover tasks are completed on time and within budget

Stakeholder Coordination :

Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to align cutover activities with business requirements

Facilitate regular cutover planning meetings and status updates

Act as the primary point of contact for all cutover-related issues

Risk Management :

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies

Monitor cutover progress and address any issues that arise

Implement contingency plans as needed to minimize disruption

Testing and Validation :

Coordinate system testing and validation activities post-cutover

Ensure all financial processes function correctly in the new system

Work with QA teams to resolve any post-cutover issues

Documentation and Training :

Document cutover processes, plans, and lessons learned

Develop and deliver training materials for end-users

Ensure all stakeholders are adequately trained on the new system

Experience :

Experience in managing system cutovers, preferably with SAP and Workday

Proven track record of successfully leading cutover activities for large-scale ERP implementations or configurations

Experience in data migration, system testing, and validation

Skills :

Strong project management and organizational skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines

Systematic thinking, dependencies with other workstreams

Look into the detail but also oversee the bigger picture

Proficiency in SAP and Workday systems
