Senior Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Global Field Service Propulsion team. As a Senior Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning of propulsion systems on ships at international locations.

Your key responsibilities will include :

Acting as a system commissioning engineer and leading related activities at the site.
Performing and coordinating all commissioning activities at the site.
Providing technical support to customers and engineers on location.
Solving project-related non-conformities during the construction period in both a technical and financial sense.
Being the contact for the Service Coordinator and the Client, and being responsible for final reporting.
Working independently but also leading groups of employees and contractors during scheduled maintenance or repair.

To be successful in this role, you will have :

A Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Several years of experience as an International Field Service Engineer, preferably with propulsion equipment or equivalent experience in an international industrial organization.

A willingness to travel extensively (worldwide) and stay abroad (+ / - 170 days a year).

Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.

Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
