Job Description : HR Business Partner
We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team in Amsterdam. We’re looking for someone responsible for driving key HR initiatives, supporting the alignment of HR with business strategies in every Farmina country and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role involves partnering with business leaders, coaching managers, and contributing to workforce planning to ensure the organization’s growth goals are met.
Objective of the Role and Key Responsibilities
- Partner with local business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization’s objectives;
- Provide expert advice on talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, and change management;
- Collaborate with department heads and HR teams to anticipate workforce needs and develop effective workforce strategies, ensuring alignment with long-term business and organizational goals;
- Facilitate performance management processes locally, driving a culture of continuous feedback and development;
- Advise and coach managers on HR policies, employee relations, and best practices to ensure fair and consistent application of policies across the organization;
- Support employee retention and engagement by implementing initiatives that enhance organizational culture and address employee concerns;
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring alignment with company values and cultural fit;
- Ensure compliance with local and international labor laws, as well as internal policies and procedures;
- Develop and oversee workforce-related budgets, ensuring costs stay aligned with organizational objectives;
- Monitor and analyze key HR metrics, including employee turnover, engagement, and performance, to inform HR strategies and business decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
8+ years of experience in HR, with expertise in HR Business Partnership;Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HR management, business, or a related field;Proven ability to coach and influence leaders, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment;Deep understanding of employee engagement, talent acquisition, performance management and other HR areas;Experience understanding global labor markets;Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills;Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities;Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work across diverse teams and geographies;Time management and organizational skills.Languages : Fluent Dutch and English (both written and spoken); other languages will be considered a plus
Place of work : Amsterdam (on-site); extensive travelling (75%) will be required
