About our Client :

A fast-growing international Crypto business is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Compliance Officer & MLRO to join their Amsterdam-based operations. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the regulatory framework of a digital finance platform as it prepares for MiCA authorisation in Europe.

You’ll join a dynamic compliance function within a regulated Dutch entity and play a key role in maintaining local compliance, refining risk management processes, and contributing to global compliance efforts.

About the Role :

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the local Compliance and AML / CTF Program , policies, and procedures.
  • Localise global compliance frameworks to ensure alignment with Dutch and broader European regulatory obligations.
  • Conduct regulatory scanning and gap analyses to proactively identify and address emerging compliance risks.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on regulatory developments (MiFID, MiCA, AML / CTF, payments, data privacy, etc.).
  • Support internal and external audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Deliver compliance training to staff and foster a strong risk-aware culture across the business.
  • Liaise with local regulators and contribute to board-level reporting on compliance matters.

About You :

  • 3 years plus experience in a compliance or MLRO role, ideally within Crypto, online broking, exchanges, or payments.
  • Must be already based in Holland
  • Strong understanding of European regulatory frameworks (MiCA, AML / CTF, MiFID, PSD2, GDPR).
  • Demonstrated ability to advise on regulatory change and build fit-for-purpose compliance controls.
  • Comfortable working in a scale-up or dynamic environment where processes are evolving.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong report writing skills
