Your Role

As a Cutting / Miller Operator , you play a crucial role in the precision manufacturing of monopiles. Using advanced cutting and milling machines, you will prepare, process, and finish heavy steel components that form the foundation of offshore wind farms. You ensure that every part meets the highest quality standards, supporting safe and efficient wind turbine installations at sea.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC cutting and milling machines to process large steel monopile components.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, cutting plans, and work instructions.
  • Set up machines, adjust cutting parameters, and monitor operations to ensure precision and quality.
  • Perform measurements and inspections using appropriate tools (calipers, micrometers, laser measurements).
  • Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and first-line troubleshooting on the equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with welders, crane operators, and quality inspectors to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Follow safety guidelines and contribute to a clean and organized working environment.
  • Report any deviations or technical issues to supervisors or the maintenance team.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience as a cutting operator, miller, CNC operator, or similar function in the heavy steel or metal industry.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Experience with large and heavy steel structures is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming and machine setup is a plus.
  • Strong sense of precision, safety, and quality.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including nights or weekends if required.
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Team player with a proactive attitude.
