Managing Director

GRTS are delighted to be partnering with the Iscbebeck Group for their new Managing Director of the Netherlands Business.

FRIEDR. ISCHEBECK GmbH is one of the leading national and international manufacturers in the fields of geotechnics, formwork systems and shoring systems. It is a family owned business managed and developed in the fifth generation by the managing directors Dipl.-Wi.-Ing. Björn Ischebeck and Dr. Lars Ischebeck. It develops and produces in Germany and supplies customers all over the world. Over 70% of the products are exported. In 2023, group headcount was roughly 650 people across 19 foreign entities.

We are delighted to be carrying out a search for a new Managing Director to lead the Netherlands business. Headquartered in Heeze, the Netherlands entity is a predominately rental business supplying formwork, falsework and trench shoring solutions to the regional Infrastructure and Buildings markets. The main customers are civil contractors and the projects range from bridges, nuclear, rail, highways to both commercial building developments.

The role holds P&L responsibility and managing the local team consisting of sales, operations, finance, admin and engineering. Although reporting into, and being supported by, German HQ you’d have responsibility for driving the business by growing revenue into new markets, coaching and mentoring the team to continuing their professional and personal development, working with the other entities to adopt successful strategies from other markets, as well as managing the challenges of the Netherlands construction market.

To be successful in this role you need to be a great leader and motivated by management, we are also looking for;

• A strong commercial leader, ideally with experience of rentals
• Civil or Technical engineering background with experience of solutions for the construction market
• Demonstrable background in financial management
• Commercial experience
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Track record of managing multi-routes to market
• Experience, or desire, to be work as part of a German family owned business
• Experience of improving efficiencies and improving profitability
• Based near, or willing to commute, to the HQ in Heeze
