Tender Engineer Electrical & Automation
As an Engineer in Offshore & Shipbuilding, you play a crucial role in creating safe, sustainable and efficient projects on or offshore. From shipbuilding to floating offshore platforms.
Responsibilities
- As the Tender Engineer Electrical & Automation you will design electrical and automation systems for advanced naval vessels.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions that meet regulatory requirements and enhance our commercial proposals.
- In this role, you frequently travel 2 offices.
- In this role, your responsibilities will include :
- Assist in preliminary equipment selection and budget allocation through requirements analysis and drafting engineering specifications.
- Define general system architectures, including Single Line Diagrams and Automation Architectures, along with electrical load balances and propulsion system configurations.
- Evaluate designs against requirements and prepare detailed reports.
- Write technical documents, contract specifications, and reports, clearly communicating complex concepts to customers and subcontractors.
- Participate in discussions on technical and commercial aspects with customers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Support cost evaluations by subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal departments to optimize project outcomes.
