We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, Azure cloud infrastructure, and GitOps.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented group of individuals who share a passion for innovation and excellence. As a Senior SRE, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our SRE / DevOps strategy.
You will be responsible for implementing and working with modern Site Reliability Engineering, GitOps, and CICD principles, technologies, and methodologies. Your primary focus will be on continuous improvement and operations, ensuring comprehensive DevOps practices are implemented across the organization.
A key aspect of this role is monitoring, analyzing root causes, experimenting, and providing feedback loops and coaching to colleagues. In close collaboration with the team and stakeholders, you will deliver high-quality solutions and knowledge that improve reliability, scalability, observability, and performance.
The successful candidate will be proactive in suggesting improvements, ideas, knowledge, and offering help. You will educate, mentor, enable, and hold accountable development teams to improve product reliability. Additionally, you will coach team members and developers on best practices in reliability engineering, sharing your expertise in automation, observability, and performance optimization.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps;
- Extensive SRE and software development experience with a strong background in DevOps practices;
- Comprehensive knowledge of multiple programming languages (e.g., .Net, Python, Bash, C#, React, GoLang);
- Proficient in (Azure) cloud platforms and tooling (e.g., Terraform / OpenTofu, ArgoCD, GitLab);
- Experienced in using and extending observability tooling like Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and system / application performance monitoring;
- Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine operational tasks;
- Deep understanding of infrastructure and software development security best practices;
- Affinity to evangelize technologies, coach, and influence others to improve;
- Flexible and willing to perform on-call duties in a rotation scheme;
- Excellent working experience in English, both verbal and in writing.
