As an Application Engineer, you will be working for an international logistics serviceprovider offering end-to-end supply chain solutions — from air and sea freight to warehousing, order processing, and technical services. Our client combines years of logistics expertise with smart digital tools and data insights to optimize processes for their customers.

A gross monthly salary ranging from €3.000,- to €5.150,- depending on knowledge and work experience.

Wij zoeken

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s level of working and thinking;
• You have experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and are familiar with logistics processes;
• You have knowledge of SQL and Dynamics 365;
• You have excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
• You are available for 40 hours per week.

Wij bieden

As an Application Engineer within the logistics operation, you serve as the link between business and IT. You effortlessly translate the needs of both internal colleagues and external clients into concrete system solutions and work closely with our IT developers. You are responsible for setting up, testing, and implementing new client solutions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

You support key users and troubleshooters in daily operational activities and provide advice on process optimization. With your analytical skills and technical expertise, you quickly identify and resolve bottlenecks. You actively contribute to improvement projects within the logistics chain and play a central role in standardizing processes.

In addition, you work on setting up and maintaining EDI architecture and designing message flows between client systems (ERP) and our WMS. You coordinate with international IT teams and resolve mapping issues between SQL and Dynamics 365. Finally, you ensure clear work instructions and technical documentation to keep processes running smoothly.
